The Brighton Chamber of Commerce and Discover Brighton would like to present a new event bringing awareness to health and fitness resources in our community.
This expo will highlight local health providers, fitness experts and gyms, and other local resources. Activities will include fitness classes, health demonstrations, health screenings, an obstacle course, and vendors. The mission behind this event is not only to feature our members and businesses in our community, but also to encourage living a healthy lifestyle.
Founded in 1955, the Chamber has been at the center of the Brighton community, fostering an environment for business and member success since its inception. Today, the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce is still an integral part of the heart of the Greater Brighton area, both physically with offices housed in Historic City Hall, and functionally, serving as the primary voice for the local business community.
Discover Brighton Colorado (#discoverbrightonco) is the marketing arm of the Greater Brighton Colorado Chamber of Commerce. It serves as the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau for the City of Brighton, Colorado. You are invited to visit Brighton, and discover all this vibrant community has to offer. Brighton is rich in agricultural history; farms offering local flavor & charm; and thriving small, locally owned businesses.
There’s something for every type of outdoors person - from the fishing enthusiast and boater to the naturalist - at Barr Lake State Park, a short drive northeast of the Denver area.
Bicyclists of all ages and abilities, nature hikers and horseback riders enjoy the level 8.8-mile multi-use trail that circles the lake, passing by several wildlife viewing stations and the park's wildlife refuge. More than 350 species of birds have been spotted in the park.
Fishing enthusiasts and boaters, including kayakers and canoeists, enjoy the lake's calm waters as powerboats are limited to electric trolling or gasoline motors 10 horsepower or less. Channel catfish, small and large-mouth bass, rainbow trout, walleye, bluegill, wiper and tiger muskie are among the species that inhabit the waters of Barr Lake.
